About The Author

Canadian Daniel Penuel Benjamin is a historical chronologist, scientist, and retired educator, now in his early 70s. He completed seven years of university in sciences and spent much of his career teaching secondary school sciences. At one point, Benjamin took an extended break from teaching and spent a year studying the geology of island epithermal systems near tectonic plate boundaries. He started studying ancient Middle Eastern chronology in 1997 as a hobby. From 2010 until now, he has been researching and writing the book series The Astronomical Chronology. During this period, he also investigated the related topic of the theoretical scientific causes of regional radiocarbon offsets compared with the International Calibration Curve and wrote a book about it.
